Laws of Abundance - #6

Laws of Abundance - #6
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Mark 11:24
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Giving is not man's idea. It is God who commanded us to give. We give because His word says so. Our givings are based on His word. When we give, we are to expect our harvest. This is the sixth law in the eight laws of abundance - Expect your harvest.

Many of us have been told to give but not expect anything back. That sounds cute but it's not in the word. If you don't expect your harvest from God, then probably you will never reap it. We do what God tells us to do and we expect God to do what He said He would do. Luke 6.38 says, "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." When you give according to this verse, you are to expect that it shall be given to you good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over it shall come into your bosom. Now we are not looking at or expecting from people. We didn't give based on what people said, we gave based on what the word of God said. Therefore our expectations is from God alone. Hallelujah. We look to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus alone. When you tithe or sow seeds, take your tithe and seed scriptures and start expecting with praise and thanskgiving. Never stop expecting because God's word is God's integrity.

Friend, expectation is a vital key in reaping your harvest. Many have missed their harvest because they never had any expectations. The reason God tells us to give is so He can invade our finances and bless us beyond our capacity to comprehend it. Expect! Expect! Expect!

"I believe I receive my harvest, I believe I receive my hundred fold, I believe I receive open heavens upon my life and my finances in the name of Jesus. Thank you Father. Glory to God."

Laws of Abundance - #5

Laws of Abundance - #5
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Malachi 3:13‭-‬14
“Your words have been harsh against Me,” Says the Lord , “Yet you say, ‘What have we spoken against You?’ You have said, ‘It is useless to serve God; What profit is  it that we have kept His ordinance, And that we have walked as mourners Before the Lord of hosts?

The fifth law in the eight laws of abundance is having a prosperous mouth. Proverbs 18:20 says, A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Increase is a result of your mouth. Increase begins with mouth. Your words are extremely powerful!

In these verses, God is talking about people who tithe and sow seeds but their words are not in line with the word of God. Speaking negatively and against the word of God hinders your prosperity and keeps you in scarcity all your life. Rise up! Change your words! Move up! It's very important for us to do what God wants us to do and at the same time to say what God says. Your words are your limit. Your words are your ceiling. You will never go where your words don't go. You will only go where your words go. Your words are the steering and the rudder of your life. Speak increase, speak prosperity, speak life and speak glory. Refuse to talk poverty, scarcity, lack and insufficiency. Speak about the sufficiency of God in Christ because the Lord supplies all of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Proverbs 18. 21 says, Life and death is in the power of the tongue, those who love it will eat it's fruit. Choose to speak in line with the word of God. Refuse to speak what you see or what your five senses tell you. Speak the word at all times and in all areas. Find out scriptures that talk about prosperity, increase and sufficiency and keep confessing them over your life. Keep speaking, don't stop talking!

Jesus said, you will have what you say. Your words have creative ability. Speak wisely. Speak healthy. Speak wealthy. Speak life. Your words carry immense power. Unleash the power and let your words carry you into the abundance that God has for you. Your abundance is on it's way! Go on with Jesus!

"My words are not harsh against God. My words are in line with the word of God. I live in abundance. I live in overflow. I live in the more than enough zone. The Lord is my Shepherd, my Vine, therefore I never lack. My God has made all grace abound towards me that I always having all sufficiency in all things abound in every good work. Hallelujah."

Laws of Abundance - #4

Laws of Abundance - #4
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

II Corinthians 9:6
But this I  say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

Sowing seeds is the fourth principle in the laws of abundance. Genesis 8.22 says “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer and day and night shall not cease.”

The kingdom of God operates by sowing and reaping while the world system operates by buying and selling. Through the kingdom system, five loaves and two fishes can feed more than five thousand people. Let's live by the kingdom system. Whatever you give over and above your tithe is your seed. Whenever you have a need, sow a seed. Sowing seeds is the kingdom way of meeting all your needs. This world is in a financial mess experiencing economic turmoil like never before and the only way you can escape the wicked, unjust and selfish schemes of men is by operating in the laws of the heavenly kingdom. Be a consistent sower. Find a good and fertile ground, seek the Lord concerning anointed ministries that are genuinely working for the expansion of the kingdom and get involved with them and start sowing and investing your seeds faithfully into their vision and work. Jesus said in Mark 10. 29, 30 Whoever sows in the kingdom for His sake and the gospels will receive a hundred fold in this age. Glory to God! As you sow in faith, the Lord will multiply your seeds sown and He will increase the fruits of your righteousness. II Corinthians 9:10 says, ‘Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.’

Friend, always direct your seed towards a specific harvest. Your harvest can be a house, job, spouse, promotion or for your ministry or business or education or a hundred fold return, whatever it may be, if you don't give up you will reap your harvest. Find and stand on scriptures that promise your harvest and take faith step towards the harvest by consistently sowing seeds. Your harvest in on its way! Keep sowing, Keep reaping!

"I am a sower. As I sow seeds in the work of the Lord, I believe the Lord multiplies my seeds and increases the fruits of my righteousness. I receive my hundred fold harvest. Always overflow. Always abundance
Always more than enough."

Laws of Abundance - #3

Laws of Abundance - #3
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Malachi 3:10
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there  will not be  room enough to  receive  it.

Giving of all tithes is the third law in the eight laws of abundance. You may be living in the poorest place on earth but if you apply these laws of abundance, you will experience financial abundance like never before. These heavenly laws will work in any place and will turn any desert into the garden of Eden.

Tithe is 10% of your income and it belongs to God. Irrespective of how much your income is, when you tithe, you are positioning yourself for increase. When you tithe, you acknowledge God as your Source and Sustainer. Tithe is acknowledgement. When you refuse to tithe, you are declaring independence from  God and independence is dangerous for a human being. We can see this in the life of Adam when He declared independence from God - He lost everything. Man was never designed to live independently of God. Tithe is a declaration of your total dependence on God. Leviticus 27.30 says, 'And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord ’s. It is holy to the Lord.'

Friend, in the Old Testament, Abraham gave His tithe to Melchizedek. In the New Testament, we, as the seed of Abraham give our tithes to our Melchizedek, Jesus Christ. Tithe is a response to the wonderful blessings of God and opens the doors for greater blessings. Do not rob God and let Him have access to your finances through your tithe. Have dominion in your finances. Your abundance is on its way!

"I don't rob God. I am a cheerful tither. When I tithe, I acknowledge God as my Source and Sustainer. I live under an open heaven with an abundant supply of blessings. Overflow always. Always abundance. Always more than enough."

Laws of Abundance - # 2

Laws of Abundance - # 2
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Matthew 6.33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

The second law in the laws of abundance is having a kingdom mindset. There is no such thing as a law that doesn't work. Laws always work. If you operate by the eight laws of abundance, no one can stop you from living a life of abundance. Refuse to stay poor. Refuse to stay in scarcity, lack and financial struggle. Refuse to look at others. Look to Jesus!  Love people but only look to Jesus!

Kingdom mindset - Jesus said in Matthew 6.33, 'Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness...' Notice the word first. That means before anyone else or anything else, put the kingdom first. Give the kingdom of God top priority in your life. It simply means putting God's house before your house. Give priority to His family, His house and His kingdom. When you put God's house first,  He will take care of your house. When you put His business first, He will take care of your business. Each one of us used to put ourselves first before anyone or anything else - thats how the world lives. This is why we could never enjoy abundance in our finances. Let's renew our minds and start giving more importance to God and His kingdom. In the book of Haggai, God gives His people the reason why they were not enjoying the goodness of God in their finances - because they neglected God's house and gave more importance to their own houses. Put God's house first! No matter where you are, no matter what you are doing, put God and the things of God first, you will start experiencing abundance like never before.

Friend, put God first in your treasure. In your finances, put God first. In your time, put God first. In your energy, put God first. Matthew 6.33 says, Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you. Don't try to earn all things - its a tough life. Don't struggle for these things instead let all things be added to you. Put God first and let abundance overtake you. Go on with Jesus!

"I am a citizen of the kingdom and my priority is the kingdom of God and His righteousness. All things are being added to me. I never lack. I am never in want. I never struggle. Always overflow. Always abundance. Always more than enough. Hallelujah."

Laws of Abundance - # 1

Laws of Abundance - # 1
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

III John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Being prosperity minded is the number one law in the laws of abundance. Prosperity in all areas of your life is directly proportional to the prosperity of your mind. This verse says you prosper as your soul prospers.

Financial abundance is God's will for each and every child of His. Psalms 35.27 says, The Lord delights in the prosperity of His servants. John 15.7 says, My Father is glorified when you bear much fruit. II Corinthians  8.9 says, For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though He was rich, yet for our sakes He became poor so that we through His poverty might become rich. How do you become prosperity minded? By meditating on the word of God concerning prosperity. Through these verses develop an image of prosperity and build a prosperity stronghold in your mind. It's difficult to receive prosperity and enjoy it if you are not prosperity minded. Prosperity in all areas at all times in not man's idea. It is God's will for all of His children. Some fight it, some disagree with it and some even rebuke it. But those who receive it will enjoy it. Eradicate poverty, lack and scarcity from your thinking and let the word frame your thinking, let the word change the way you think and see things. You are a child of the Most High God and no child of God should ever be poor and needy. Never.

Friend, this world needs the church to be prosperous because only the body of Christ can replenish the world. God wants you to live and walk in abundance. Become prosperity minded. Become increase minded so you can receive the blessings of God and become a distributor of Gods wealth to this dying world. Expand the kingdom! Enjoy your life! Help the poor! Jesus is coming back!

"I live in supernatural prosperity every day of my life. I have a prosperous soul and I am prospering in everything I do. No lack. No scarcity. No shortage. Always overflow. Always abundance. Always more than enough. Hallelujah”

This is life!

This is life!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Ecclesiastes 12:13
Having heard everything, I have reached this conclusion: Fear God and keep his commandments, because this is the whole duty of man.

What is life? How would you define and describe it? Some would say family. Some would say having lots of money. Others would say having peace. What would you say?

King Solomon, the wisest and the richest king that ever lived said, 'Having heard everything, I have reached this conclusion: Fear God and keep his commandments, because this is the whole duty of man.' This is life. It's the foundation of life. Nothing else matters! What a powerful and wonderful verse! To fear God simply means to respect the Lord and to give Him honour. It doesn't mean to be afraid of Him like you would be scared and afraid of a snake, it's means to reverence Him, to hold Him in high esteem. To fear the Lord means to love what He loves and to hate what He hates. To fear the Lord means to obey Him, to do whatever He says. Obedience is a result of the fear of the Lord. When it's all said and done, you stand before your Creator and you give Him an account of your life to Him. Every human will stand before the judgement seat of God.

Friend, the only thing that matters in life is to fear God and to keep His commandments. Let this become the motto of our lives. Life becomes beautiful when we know what life actually is. Life is a struggle when the purpose and objective of life is not known. When life is not understood, we run after worthless things only to realise that all of it was just a waste. Be wise and take the advice of King Solomon : Fear God and keep His commands for this is your life. Nothing else matters!

Faith & Words

Faith & Words
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Luke 17:6
So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

Everything is possible for him who believes. Nothing is impossible for faith. When you got born again, the faith of God was deposited in your spirit. The God kind of faith that's in you moves mountains and overcomes the world.

It's one thing to have faith, it's another thing to use it. Child of God, use your faith! Faith will move any and every mountain and will overcome the world. Faith will get you what you want. Faith will take where you want to go. Faith will bring you out of any pit that's holding you. Faith is released by words. Faith is put to work by words. Unless you speak, faith won't be released. Unless you speak, faith won't work. Unless you speak, faith won't act. Speak God's word. Find out what God has said about your situation or any area that concerns you. Once you find those Scriptures, meditate on them and start speaking them. The spirit of faith believes in the heart and speaks with the mouth. Speak the word till you are convinced and once you are convinced, keep speaking it. Never stop speaking. Keep speaking the word. Keep talking. What you can't do, faith can do. What your family can't do, faith can do. Release your faith. Speak God's word.

Friend, your faith is released and put to work when you speak the word of God. Jesus spoke to the fig tree, His faith was released and the fig tree withered from the roots. Faith gives God access. When God shows up, everything changes. Speak God's word, Release God's faith and Give God access. Never give up! Everything is possible. Just believe and SPEAK!

Your garden!

Your garden!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Genesis 2:15
Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.

Your garden is your calling. Your garden is the place you are supposed to be. Your garden is the work you are supposed to do.

God has prepared your garden even before you were ever born. Your birth is proof that your garden is ready. Your birth is proof that your place and your work is ready. You were not born to make a garden. You were born to discover your garden and get in it. God is the one who plants the garden. So only God can reveal to you where and what your garden is. As you give yourself to the word of God and to prayer, you will discover your garden. As you learn to walk with God and fellowship with Him, He will reveal to you the garden - your place and your work. The garden is the place to be. It's the place of supernatural protection, provision and satisfaction. The garden is the place you were designed to be. God knows your garden and accordingly He has designed you. No other work and no other place will satisfy. Do you know where and what your garden is? Your garden is hidden in the word and as your dwell on the word, the Holy Spirit will direct you and lead you into your garden.

Friend, you have a specific place and a specific work. The priority of our lives is to discover it through the word and prayer. Once you discover it, get in your garden and fulfill your calling with excellence. Refuse to be distracted. Choose to be focused. Keep your eyes on Jesus and finish your race with joy. Nothing else matters!

Christ the Healer!

Christ the Healer!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Exodus 15:26
and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord  who heals you.”

Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our Healer is one of the names of our Lord. He's our Healer and Healing is in His name. Jesus is Jehovah Rapha! Elshaddai, Elohim, Jehovah Jireh and all the other names of God in the Old Testament is represented in one name, Jesus!

Jesus never made any person sick in His earthly ministry. In fact where ever He went He healed people because that's His name, He is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our Healer. He desires to see you in good health, enjoying life to the fullest. Satan is the author of sickness and disease. Sickness is a curse and it comes from the devil himself. A child of God must never tolerate sickness. Jesus paid a huge price to redeem you from sickness and disease. On the cross, Jesus took every sickness and disease on himself and suffered it for you. He didn't leave out any sickness and disease. He took it all. He bore all of it and when He rose again on the third day He defeated every sickness, every disease and declared them powerless over those that are in Christ. He did all of these things so that we could walk in divine health. The sickness that's in your body has been defeated by Jesus. It has no legal right to be in your body. Rise up, use your authority in the name of Jesus and force the illegal resident to vacate your body. Colossians 1.27 says, ...Christ in you, the hope of glory. Christ the Healer lives in you. Think about this, Jehovah Rapha lives in you! The Healer himself lives in you! You are so powerful in Christ. The one who is in you is greater than the all the sicknesses and diseases of this world.

Friend, be conscious that Jesus is your Healer and that He lives in you. The Holy Spirit lives in you. Take some time and meditate on, Christ the Healer lives in me. As you believe and say this with thanksgiving, your faith will connect to the anointing that's in you and you will be completely healed. Faith is the connection! Be conscious of the price Jesus has paid for your health and healing. No more sickness! No more disease! Christ the Healer lives in me and I am healthy, healed and whole in the name of Jesus!

Faith & Works

Faith & Works
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

James 2:17
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Genuine faith always produces works. Genuine faith gives birth to corresponding actions. Faith that doesn't produce actions is a dead faith.

Genuine faith causes a change in your speech and in your actions.  Mark 5 talks about a lady who was suffering from the issue of blood for twelve years and had spent all that she had on doctors but instead of getting better, she grew worse. Think about this lady for a moment. Think about her speech, her actions and her life in the midst of this terrible sickness. One day, she heard about Jesus as the Healer. Romans 10.17 says, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. As soon as she heard about Jesus, her thoughts, words and actions began to change because she believed what she heard. She kept saying to herself, If I touch Him, I will be healed. Not only did she say that, she got up and went after Jesus, touched the hem of His garment and was made completely whole. Glory to God. Genuine faith always produces actions. Dead faith doesn't move. It's passive. No change. No response. Just dead! Dead faith gets nothing from God. If her faith was dead, she would not have changed her words and actions after hearing about Jesus. Faith that produces corresponding actions is a perfect faith. Faith that does not produce corresponding actions is a dead faith. What is your faith producing?

Friend, when Abraham's faith was strong, it produced corresponding actions - He started giving glory to God. Weak faith cannot produce corresponding actions. Feed your faith with the word of God. The word of God is faith food. Take Scriptures that concern you and keep listening, meditating and speaking them so that your faith becomes stronger than ever. Build your faith by praying much in other tongues. You will see your faith grow strong and producing works, producing corresponding actions that will make your faith perfect and you will never fail to receive from the Lord. Go on with Jesus!

Faith & Grace

Faith & Grace
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Romans 5:2
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Grace means unmerited favour. It's unearned and undeserved favour. God's goodness and blessings towards us is simply because of His great grace.

Because of our sins, we deserved damnation and hell, but God in His great grace sent Jesus to die for us and thereby provided salvation for the entire human race. Everything that God does, has done and will ever do is solely based on His grace, His unconditional love for us. No one can boast of his own works and worthiness in the presence of God. You see, it's not because of your works it because of His grace. God doesn't bless you because you are good, He blesses you because He's good and because of the works of Jesus. Grace has made salvation, healing, deliverance, prosperity, protection, peace and every spiritual blessing available for you. The finished works of Jesus Christ has paid for all of the blessings of God. Faith is the only way you can access and enjoy the grace of God and the blessings provided by His grace. Faith is the only bridge to grace. Faith is the only key that will unlock the grace of God. Ephesians 2.8,9 says, 'For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it  is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.' Romans 4.16 says,  'Therefore it is of faith, so that it might be through grace..'. Because it's based on Gods grace, anyone who believes receives. This makes religious people mad because they depend so much on their works. The tax collectors and the prostitutes received grace from Jesus but the Pharisees and the religious people couldn't. Think about that! Jesus, full of grace and truth walking among the people and the crowd was thronging Him but only the lady with the issue of blood for twelve years got her healing. Why? Because she was the only one who touched him by faith. Faith is the only access to grace. She was healed instantly and was made whole. Healing was for everyone but she was the only who took it by faith. She heard the word. She said the word. She acted on the word. She refused to give up. She got her healing. She smiles! Jesus said to her, Daughter, your faith made you whole.

Friend, there is no other way you can enjoy the grace of God. It's by faith and faith alone. Without the grace of God, life is a struggle. His grace is sufficient for us. Believe the word of God. Speak the word of God. Never ever give up come hell or high water. Go on with Jesus. Your faith in the word of God will release God's grace in your life and your life will never be the same. Only believe and you will see the glory of God. This is your time.

Faith & Love

Faith & Love
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Galatians 5:6
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

A fish cannot live without water. Faith cannot work without love. Without love, faith has no power. I Corinthians 13:13 says, And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Faith will not work in an unforgiving heart. Unforgiveness will nullify your faith. Faith needs love to work effectively. Walking in love - that is believing God loves you and loving others - creates an atmosphere where faith can freely and powerfully express itself. I Corinthians 13:2 says '..and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have no love, I am nothing.' Without love, faith has no expression. Without love, faith is dead. Without love, faith has no results. You can quote all the Scriptures you know, it won't work unless you walk in love because faith works by love. Jesus spoke about the importance of forgiveness and walking in love while teaching about faith and how it works. He said in Mark 11:25, 'And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.' No love, No faith. No faith, No grace. No grace, No power. Jesus gave us a new command in John 13:34, 'A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.' Love is a command and you can obey His command because Romans 5.5 says, the love of God is in you through the Holy Spirit. Walking in love makes your faith effective.

Friend, your love walk decides how much of your faith is actually working. Your faith result is directly proportional to your love walk. Love is the door of faith. 30% love results in 30% fruit. 60% love results in 60% fruit. 100% love results in 100% fruit. Open the door! Go for the hundred fold! If your faith is struggling today, check your love walk, choose to forgive and let go. Jesus loves you and His love is in you! Love Jesus, Love people and Love life.

Faith & Patience.

Faith & Patience.
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Hebrews 6:12
that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Faith receives the promise. Patience keeps the promise till it manifests. Both are important for the manifestation of the promises. Faith and patience walk hand in hand.  One is incomplete without the other.

II Corinthians 1:20 says, 'For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.' In Christ, every promise in the word of God is yours. It belongs to you just as much as it belongs to Jesus. Every promise has your name on it. Take it by faith, keep it by patience and you will see it happening in your life. Every time you take a promise, you will face pressure from the enemy, who wants you to give up and will give you thousand reasons as to why the promise is not for you and won't be fulfilled in your life. The enemy's objective is to steal the promise out of your heart and mouth. For most believers, faith is not the problem, it's patience. The ground has to receive the mango seed and the ground has to keep the mango seed, only then the mango tree will manifest. Faith in Gods promises always attracts pressure and persecution from Satan and his forces. This is the reason many don't see the manifestation of the promises. When pressure comes, they quickly throw away the promises. There is not a single person on this planet who has seen the manifestation of God's promises without enduring challenges, pressures and persecutions. Romans 8.28 says, all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Pressure and persecutions build our character so we will be equipped and complete, lacking nothing. You are born of God and therefore you have the faith of God to believe the promises and you have the patience of God to hold on to the promises against all odds. Be of good cheer! You can do it!

Friend, faith and patience are integral ingredients in the manifestation of Gods promises. Believe and receive the promise and refuse to give up the promise irrespective of what you see or hear. Don't allow the devil, people or any circumstance or situation to steal the promise of God from you heart and your mouth. Keep believing! Keep speaking! Always remember, you are standing on Gods word. Gods word is Gods integrity. Heaven and earth will pass away but His word will never pass away. The Bible says about Abraham in Hebrews 6:15, 'And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.' Go on with Jesus!

"I refuse to give up. I believe the word and I hold on to the word. God's word is God's integrity. I see the manifestation of every promise God has made to me. Thank you, Lord Jesus!"

Open the door!

Open the door!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Revelation 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Jesus wants to help you! He's not far away from us. He's knocking on the door of your heart and is waiting for you to open the door and welcome Him into your life.

Jesus will never force His way into your life because He is gentle. He desires a close intimate relationship with you. He longs to have fellowship with us and is giving us a good opportunity to change our lives. Fellowship results in absolute dominion in every area of life. The benefits of fellowship are so much, that if we understand it, we would knock on His door. Jesus gives every human on earth the opportunity to turn their world around for the better. He knows we cannot enjoy our lives without Him and therefore He keeps knocking on our door through His Spirit, His word and His people. Opening the door simply means to believe and receive what He has to offer. His knocking is not because of our goodness but because of His goodness and love. It doesn't matter how many times you have failed, what mistakes you have made in life and what challenges you are facing, just open the door and let the Lord come in. His coming is not based on your good works but it's solely based on His unconditional love for you. This verse says Jesus will come for anyone who will open the door, irrespective of who the person is or what the person has done or not done.

Friend, there is nothing that Jesus cannot fix. Why don't you open the door of your life and invite Him in?. He will show you great and wonderful things, He will teach you the principles of life and help you fulfill His call with excellence. As you fellowship with Him, you will begin to live the higher life He has for you. Give Him charge of your life and every arena of your life for in Him all things are held together. When Jesus is in His place, the first place, then everything else will be in it's place. Open the door!

Humility gets Gods attention!

Humility gets God's attention!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Psalms 138:6
Though the Lord is supreme, he takes care of those who are humble, but he stays away from the proud.

The Lord is supreme, He is on high, above all of us. He holds the highest and the greatest place in the universe. He is the Most High God and there is no one higher than Him. Yet, He takes care and regards the humble.

Humility is a big thing in the eyes of God. Humble people get His attention, His care and His respect. Humility is not debasing yourself in the eyes of God and man. Humility does not mean to keep a sad face, throw away all your jewellery and to wear white clothes all the time. Thats not humility, thats a lack of word knowledge. Humility has more to do with your heart than with your outward appearance. The Pharisees and the religious people did so many religious things as far as their outward appearances are concerned but in the eyes of God, they were proud. God doesn't see as man sees. Man looks on the outside but God looks at the heart. Humility simply means to acknowledge that without Jesus you are nothing and you can do nothing. Its a total dependence on the Lord - submitting and conforming to His word and His Spirit. You are what He says you are, You say what He says, You do what He tells you to do and You have what He says You have. James 4.7 says, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. God hates pride. Pride is a declaration of one's independence from God. A proud person does not submit to the word and ways of God - always rebelling and standing against God. He mocks the ways of God and follows his own ways and plans to his own destruction. This verse says God stays away from the proud. Proverbs 11.2 says, When pride comes, then comes shame. Proverbs 16.18 says, Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 29.23 says, A man's pride will bring him low.

Friend, choose to humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and He will exalt and promote you in due time. Jesus said in Matthew 23:12, whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. The Most High God gives you His attention and your exaltation is on the way! Glory! Go on with Jesus!

Practice makes perfect.

Practice makes perfect!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Hebrews 5:13‭-‬14
For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Babies feed on milk and full grown people eat solid food. In the kingdom of God, there are baby believers and there are mature believers. Milk is not enough to display the excellence of the one who called us, it is only by strong meat, solid food.

Every believer starts with the milk of the word. It is sad to say that many are still feeding on the milk and therefore they are not ready for the strong meat of the word. The writer of Hebrews wanted to share some deeper truths with the people but because of their inability to receive it, He didn't share it. Refuse to be a baby anymore, grow up in the things of God. These verses gives us the key as to why some are still babies and others have become mature. Practice makes perfect! The ones who receive the word and exercise it are the ones who grow. James 1.22 says, 'Be doers of the word and not just hearers only, deceiving yourself.' The ones that are mature today are the ones who consistently hear the word, consistently receive it and consistently act on it. They exercise the word consistently. A man or a woman who does regular physical exercise tend to be physically mature and strong. Likewise the ones who regularly do their word exercise are the ones who grow in the kingdom of God. Word excercise : Hearing the word, Receiving the word, Reading and studying the word, Meditating on the word, Speaking the word and Doing the word. These exercises when done consistently affects your mind and your five physical senses in such a profound way that your mind and your five physical senses begin to see the difference between good and evil as God sees it. You begin to stand out and stand tall in every arena of your life. You become a role model and a blessing for many.

Friend, practice the word consistently. This is the key to maturity. The body of Christ around the world is filled with babies who are still on milk - afraid to face the devil, sin conscious, sick, broke, depressed, worried and tormented. Thank God it's changing and babies are becoming mature in God. Give great honour to God's word because God and His word is one. Give the word first place and make it the final authority in your life. Babies can't do much, they just cry a lot. Grow up and let the world be blessed through YOU. This is your time!

The deceitfulness of riches.

The deceitfulness of riches.
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Mark 4:19
and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

To decieve means to make someone believe something that is not true. Jesus taught a lot about money so that we won't be deceived as far as money is concerned. Being rooted and grounded in the revelation of Gods word will keep you from being deceived in these last days.

What is the deceitfulness of riches? It simply means to believe that life is measured, valued and secured by riches. If a person has more riches and possessions, then He has a good life, His life is secure and that His life is valuable. It means to believe that money is God, money is security, money is life and that money makes us valuable. This deception causes people to run after money and go to any extent to have it. The deceitfulness of riches causes a person to love and serve money and to place his trust on riches. Proverbs 11:4 says, 'Riches do not profit in the day of wrath.' Proverbs 11:28 says, 'He who trusts in his riches will fall.. ' I Timothy 6:10 says, 'For the love of money is a root of all kinds  of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.' Financial prosperity is God's will for you. God not only desires that you be financially prosperous but He is also well able to make you financially prosperous. It's God responsibility to make you rich and wealthy. Proverbs 10. 22 says, 'The blessing of the Lord makes rich and He adds no sorrow to it.' Money is not our security, Jesus is our protection. It's not money that makes us valuable it's the presence and love of Jesus that makes us valuable. How blessed we are if know these things and are established in them!

Friend, its not your responsibility to make yourself rich, it's God's responsibility to make you wealthy. Our responsibility is to fellowship with Him, to obey Him and to be faithful wherever we are. Running after money and chasing after riches leads to self destruction. It's not worth it and it adds much sorrow. Let God make you rich and wealthy. Refuse to be deceived. Know the truth and the truth will set you free so you can set others free. You are not everybody. You are a child of the Most High God. Remember who you are!

The Lord's pleasure!

The Lord's pleasure!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Psalms 147:10‭-‬11
He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy.

The Lord's pleasure is not in strong armies or in mighty warriors. The Lord has no pleasure in what the world has pleasure in. He doesn't see things as men see them. His delight is with those who fear Him.

The ones who honour and respect Him are the ones who please Him. Some translations say The Lord enjoys, treasures, values, favours and gives attention to those who fear Him and hope in His mercy. To fear the Lord doesn't mean to be afraid or scared of Him. It simply means to have great honour and respect for the Lord which is evident in your thoughts, your words, your actions, the books you read, the conversations you have, the places you go, the way you manage your finances and the friends you keep. The Lord enjoys those who fear Him - those who give him first place in their lives and make Him the top most priority of their lives. When you have great reverence for God and His things, you have just positioned yourself for supernatural favour and success. For those of us who love the Lord Jesus, this verse is extremely powerful because it tells us what the Lord enjoys and delights in. The world is pleased with skills, talents, beauty, possessions, positions, achievements, assets and other things but the Lord has great pleasure in those who fear Him, those who do what He says. The God fearing are the ones who have His attention, favour and protection, they are His joy. Glory to God.

Friend, Goliath was a mighty warrior who had great strength and ability but God had no pleasure in Him. The Lord says in I Samuel 2.30, '..those who honour me, I will honour but those who despise me will be lightly esteemed.' Whereas a young boy named David who feared the Lord greatly was God's joy and delight. David had God's attention and the rest is history. Joseph was thrown in prison for refusing to sleep with Potiphars wife, every one turned away from Joseph but the Bible says the Lord was with Joseph in prison. Hallelujah! You may not have the world's attention but you have God's attention and that's all you need and He will raise you up to the very summit of prosperity and opulence. This is your time. Go on with Jesus!
