The steering of life.

The steering of life.
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

James 3:4
Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires.

A very small rudder turns a ship. Your mouth is the rudder of your life. Your mouth is the steering of your life. Your life follows your words. Your words direct your life.

Proverbs 18.21 says, Life and death is in the power of the tongue, those who love it will eats its fruit. What you say, is what you get. Your life and your death is not in heaven or in Satan's hand. It's in your mouth. The quality of your words is the quality of your life. Spiritual maturity is measured by the quality of words - James 3.2 says, For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

Where are you going in life? Check your words. Hear your words. Examine your words. Your words are the steering of your life. Speak the word of God for it's the word of life. Keep speaking the word, don't stop talking. Refuse to speak death words - words that are contrary to God's word. Only speak the word and only speak in line with the word. As you do, your life will begin to move upward and ever upward for the glory of God. Speak life!  See life! Enjoy life! Jesus is Lord!

"I speak wisely because my life follows my words. I speak life. I speak victory. I speak abundance in the name of Jesus. I am moving higher and higher in life and in ministry. The word of God in my mouth is as powerful as the word of God in God's mouth."

Do you need wisdom?

Do you need wisdom?
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

To live a life of success, you need wisdom. Lack of wisdom leads to wastage of time, energy and resources. It's very expensive! Infact the Bible says, wisdom is the most important thing. Wisdom is doing what is right in the eyes of God for the glory of God.

According to this verse, you can ask God for wisdom and He will give it to you. Ask in faith and believe your receive when you pray. Wisdom will help you make the right decisions in life - to set your priorities right and to discern the excellent from the good. His wisdom will always open a way, will always solve the problem and will always bring you to the top. Wisdom will give you long life, honour and riches.

Christ has been made for us - wisdom. Jesus Christ is the embodiment of God's wisdom. Christ lives in you. As you look to Jesus, you become wiser. The more you walk on Gods word, the wiser you become. The more you speak in tongues, the wiser you become. Wisdom will give you sweatless victories and effortless success. You are a child of God and godly wisdom is your inheritance. Take it by faith! Enjoy the abundant life! Go on with Jesus!

The trials of faith.

The trials of faith.
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

James 1:2‭-‬3
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

Your faith in Jesus and His word will be tested. I call it 'the trials of faith'. Your faith will be tried to prove whether its genuine or not.

The Scriptures talk about weak faith, strong faith, little faith, great faith, dead faith and perfect faith. Which one is yours? Only pressure can reveal the quality of your response, of your faith. Every one who wants to live a faith life, a godly life will be persecuted. Pressure is an inevitable part of our faith life.

When our faith is under pressure - pressure to give up on the word of God and Jesus - instead of getting mad and angry, we count it all joy because we know something, we have inside information. Glory! We know that the testing of our faith produces patience and we let patience have her perfect work - its faith and patience that inherits the promise. What a great attitude the word gives us! Hallelujah. When people are complaining, grumbling and accusing, you are rejoicing because all things are working together for your good. Ha! Ha! Ha!. Jesus is Lord and the best is yet to come!

"My faith is not weak, its strong. My faith is genuine, not fake. I trust God completely in the midst of the trials and I refuse to give up. Patience is having it's full work in me and I know all things are working for my good. Hallelujah."

Absolutely nothing!

Absolutely nothing!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

John 15:5
Jesus said, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

How much is nothing? Nothing means not a single thing. Absolutely nothing.

Without Jesus, we are nothing and we can do absolutely nothing. The day we settle this in our thinking, that day will be the beginning of the abundant life that Jesus has for us. No matter where you are and what you are doing, you need Jesus!  The most important thing for a branch is to stay connected to the Vine. Stay connected! Abide! Remain!

What does it mean to abide?  It means to do what He says. Do what the word says. Do what the Holy Spirit says. Fellowship is incomplete with obedience. Fellowship results in dominion. Don't complicate your life. Keep it simple! Life is beautiful when you abide in Jesus. Bear much fruit, walk in dominion! This is your time! Go on with Jesus!

“Jesus is the Vine, I am the branch. I abide in Him and His words abide in me. I bear much fruit and my fruit remains. I walk with Him and I do what He says. I lack nothing.”

Be available!

Be available!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Acts 19:11
Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul,

God wants to use you! God wants to bless people through you. Paul yielded himself to the Lord, He gave his hands to the Lord and the Lord worked unusual miracles by his hands.

God is no respecter of persons, He shows no partiality. Anyone who makes himself available for the Lord, the Lord will use that person to show His wonders. II Timothy 2:21 says, Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. Be eager to share the gospel, to share what Jesus has done for you. Lay your hands on the sick in the name of Jesus, cast out demons in the name of Jesus and acknowledge the name of the Lord in everything you do.

Say, "Lord I yield my life, my body, my time, my energy and my resources to you. Like Isaiah, I say, Here I am Lord, use me. I will go where you want me to go, do what you want me to do and speak your word in every situation"  Be available,  the harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few. God will work wonders through you. He's waiting on you. Surrender now! Go on with Jesus!

Are you saved?

Are you saved?
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Acts 15:1
And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”

How did you get saved? According to Romans 10:9, ..if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9 says, 'For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.' Salvation is a gift of God. Don't work for the gift, don't try to earn it, just receive it. Our salvation is a result of God's grace and mercy. Your works cannot and will not save you. Its by grace - the works of Jesus - that we are saved.

All of our works to get saved are filthy rags in the sight of God. There is nothing you can possibly do to get saved. Jesus has done everything that needs to be done for your salvation. Jesus is the way! His blood and His works - His death, burial and resurrection have purchased salvation for every human on earth. Receive the gift of salvation! Live a saved life!

Pray for your leaders!

Pray for your leaders!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Acts 12:5
Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

Every leader in the church is a gift given by Jesus to the church. Think about this, every apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher is a gift. They have been appointed to equip the saints for the work of the ministry and for edifying the body of Christ.

Pray for your leaders! In this verse, we see the early church praying for their leader and through their constant prayer, Peter was supernaturally delivered from the hands of the enemy. Praying for your leader releases supernatural supply of the Spirit towards your leaders and it is well pleasing to God. Surround your pastor with your prayers.

Pray that God will give them wisdom, divine protection and help them live their lives in the perfect will of God. Speak the word over them and celebrate their lives with praise and thanksgiving. Stand and join in with your pastor's vision and help him fulfill it. Your respect towards your God appointed pastors reveal your respect towards God because they are gifts sent and appointed by God. Your pastor is Jesus' gift to you! Go on with Jesus! This is your time! Jesus is Lord.

Excel in your calling!

Excel in your calling!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Acts 9:22
But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ.

Discover your calling! Find out why you were created and excel in it. You have a place, you have a specific calling and you have grace to fulfill your race. Discover where you are supposed to be and what you are supposed to do.

Paul increased all the more in strength, that means He became better and better in what Jesus called him to do. He always kept learning, kept developing, kept improving and kept growing. Whether you are called as a preacher, businessman, doctor or an athlete, seek to excel in your calling. Become the best in your work and let excellence be your trademark. The Apostle Paul said in Philippians 3:13‭-‬14, ...but one thing I  do,  forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Being laser focused on the one who called you and on your calling results in excellence. Giving up everything you got for the one who loves you and for your calling results in excellence. Anything less than excellence is unacceptable! Thank the Lord for the success He gave you so far, but don't stay there, keep moving, keep going higher and higher. Become better and better, keep learning and keep improving. Stay rooted and grounded in the word, be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, praise God with every breath you have and walk in love. This is your time!

Are you still casting lots?

Are you still casting lots?
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Acts 1:26
And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus and later hanged himself out of remorse. Peter and the remaining disciples cast their lots to decide on who will take the place of Judas. This was before the Holy Spirit came upon them. You don't see Peter doing this anymore, after He received the Holy Spirit.

The church doesn't run by casting lots. The church is not a democracy, it's a kingdom run by the King and His name is Jesus. Many believer are still casting lots, in other words they are looking outside for directions and decisions. This results is deception and total confusion. When the Holy Spirit comes in you, all the directions, answers and counsel that you will ever need in life is within you. We are not outside in people. We are inside out people. God lives in us. We don't run after the solar system, the stars, the moon or the sun to guide us. We don't let trees, animals and winds influence our decisions as to what is yes and what is no. We live a higher life! We don't need astrologers and other so called prophets to lead and direct us. We have the Holy Spirit in us. The Teacher, the Guide and the Helper lives on the inside of you. Stop looking outside, start looking inside!

Stay rooted and grounded on the word of God and speak in tongues as much as you can. By doing so, you will make yourself sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will guide you, He will lead you, teach you and help you make right decisions all the time. Stop casting lots! Look within! Christ in you, the hope of glory!

"I look within to the Holy Spirit who lives in me for directions and for wisdom. I am not led by physical, worldly things, worldly practices and circumstances but I am led by the Holy Spirit and I live a triumphant life. I am word based and Spirit led. I am child of God."

The power of forgiveness!

The power of forgiveness!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Matthew 18:21‭-‬22
Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

A believer cannot afford to be in unforgiveness. Jesus commanded us to forgive, not seven times but four hundred and ninety times. This simply means Jesus is telling us, do not entertain unforgiveness under any condition. Be an all time forgiver!

Unforgiveness will block your faith, will hinder your prayers, will nullify your confessions and you won't be able to receive anything from God. Unforgiveness opens the door to Satanic oppression. Refuse to be in unforgiveness. Choose to forgive. Forgiveness is a decision, it's an act of the will. Forgive by faith. Forgive because God forgave you. Know this, we broke God's law and were His enemies by nature, condemned and under God's wrath. But God forgave us and wiped out our transgressions because of His great love and by the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

God has forgiven us our iniquities even when we didn't deserve it. We forgive simply because God forgave us. It's easy for you to forgive when you know how much God has forgiven you, how much He loves you. The love of God has been poured out in your spirit by the Holy Spirit. You can forgive any one, anywhere, anytime for anything they do because God's love is in you. The only question is, Will you? Yes, I will because God forgave me and therefore I forgive! I am an all time forgiver! Jesus is my Lord!

Reap your harvest!

Reap your harvest!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Mark 4:26‭, ‬29
And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,  But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

There is no field more fertile and better than the kingdom of God for your investments. Jesus said in Mark 10. 29,30 - whoever sows into the kingdom of God for the sake of Jesus and the Gospel will reap a hundred fold in this time.

Sowing and reaping is our responsibility. Multiplying the seeds sown is God's responsibility. As kingdom citizens, the kingdom of God must be our priority. Notice, not just sowing, reaping is also your responsibility. Verse 29 says, But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come. God is not going to reap the harvest for you. You have to reap the harvest. We are living in the last of the last days, the harvest is ready. Start reaping the moment you sow. These are supernatural days! The sickle is your mouth.

Speak the verses you are standing on and expect your harvest, your hundred fold with praise and thanskgiving. Speak! Use your authority in the name of Jesus - Release angels to bring your harvest and bind demonic spirits from hindering or blocking your harvest. Tithe consistently. Sow consistently. Reap consistently. Your harvest is ready! Enjoy the blessed life!

Sea walk!

Sea walk!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Matthew 14:24‭-‬25
But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.

The disciples were in the boat and were having a difficult time because the wind was against them. They saw Jesus walking on the sea. Isn't it amazing to know that Jesus walked on the sea, the same sea that was causing problems to the disciples?  Problems for some, opportunities for another.

How is it that some people have dominion over their problems while others struggle with the same problems? Some walk over their problems while others are tossed and carried away by their problems. Jesus came to show us how to live and He said, 'the works that I do, you will do also but greater works than these you will do.' Every believer is supposed to have dominion in life - which includes walking over their problems. When you read further, you will see Peter walking on the sea. You see, Jesus greatly desires for you to walk in dominion.

Jesus told Peter, 'Come' and when Peter stepped out on His word, He could walk on water. Walking on the word is walking in dominion. Believe what the word says. Speak what the word says. Do what the word says. Know that you have authority in the name of Jesus. Know that the mighty Holy Spirit lives on the inside of you. Walk over your problems! Look to Jesus and walk on the word!  Heaven and earth will pass away but the word of God will never pass away. This is your time!

Run your race!

Run your race!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Hebrews 12:1
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

You are in a race. A race to fulfil God's plan for your life. We have great examples of the heroes of old who completed their race in God and we can learn from their lives so we can finish our race with joy. Hebrews 11 talks about some of the faith champions.

In running your race, identify every weight that is and that could pull you down and lay it aside. This is serious business. There is nothing more important than fulfilling God's will for your life. Refuse to yield yourself to sin which ensnares us. Refuse to be distracted. Refuse the principles of the world. Refuse the temporary pleasures of sin. Refuse to be offended. Forgive freely. Forgive quickly. Forgive now. Shake off the distractions and keep running! Never give up. His grace is sufficient, His love is limitless and His mercy endures forever.

Run your race fixing your eyes on Jesus. Study His life, His focus, the opposition He faced and His response, the temptations He overcame, His patience and His victory. Study Jesus, look to Him and run for He is our strength, our hope and our victory. You will not grow weary, you won't faint but you will finish your course with joy. Jesus is Lord!

"I fix my eyes on Jesus and run my race with holiness, excellence and joy. Lord, help me identify every weight that hinders me so I can lay it aside and run for your glory. I am yours Lord and for you alone I live."

God swore by Himself!

God swore by Himself!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Hebrews 6:13‭-‬14
For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”

God is a giver. Since the beginning of times, all He wants to do is bless His children beyond measure. To show Abraham the seriousness of His counsel to bless him, He swore by Himself.

Think about this, since there was no one greater to swear by, God swore by himself. Why would He do such a thing? This is God's love! How much He desires to bless you! How much He loves you! He added His oath to His word to let Abraham and his seed know that God wants to bless them beyond measure. With this, there is no question, no doubt remaining about God's willingness to bless us. It's sad, so many people see God as one who takes away and steals the blessings. No one has been more misunderstood than God.

For you, God didn't even spare His one and only begotten son, Jesus. God's desire to bless us and His love for us moved Him to send Jesus to die for us so that every one who believes in Jesus would become the seed of Abraham and therefore a recipient of all the blessings of God. In Christ, you are the seed of Abraham and you are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. God always wants to give you more than what you ask, think or imagine. God is good. God is love. God is light. God is for you and God loves you. Jesus is Lord!

"God loves me and greatly desires to see me blessed in every area of my life. I receive the blessings of God and I walk in it. Jesus is my Lord and I am the seed of Abraham. My Father loves me as much as He loves Jesus."

Fear is bondage!

Fear is bondage!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Hebrews 2:15
and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Fear brings you under bondage and makes you a slave. Fear is bondage. Fear is slavery. No fear comes from God because God is love and there is no fear in love.

Satan is the spirit of fear. The only way Satan can bring you under bondage is through fear. The only way He can keep you in bondage or slavery is through fear. According to this verse, Jesus has delivered us and released us from the fear of death by destroying Satan, the one who had the power of death. Believer, the enemy has no legal authority over you but He seeks to get access into your life through fear. Fear opens the door to the devil just like faith opens the door to God.

Fear in any area, about anything is unacceptable! You cannot afford to be in fear because fear is very expensive. You do not manage fear, you kick it out of your life. Do not tolerate it at any cost. Do not give Satan access. Do not open the door to the devil. Fear has no entrance where love is king. Know and believe that God loves you. You are God's beloved. The only way you can walk and live fearlessly is by growing and maturing in your understanding of Gods love for you. No more fear. Love is King! Live fearlessly!

Sins wiped out!

Sins wiped out!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Hebrews 9:22
In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

Breaking God's law is called sin. Sin has consequences and is very dangerous. The wages of sin is death.

All of us in some way or the other have broken God's law and therefore all of us are guilty and condemned in the eyes of God. This verse says, without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins. The Scripture also says, the one who sins will die. But God, who is rich in mercy and because of his great love for us, He sent Jesus to bear the punishment for our sins, the judgement and the condemnation in our place and through His sacrifice, through His blood completely wipe out our sins.

Believer, your sins are not hidden or covered, your sins are wiped out! In Christ, you are a new creation, old things have passed away and behold all things have become new. God treats you as if you never sinned. God doesn't remember your sins. The blood of Jesus has taken away your sins. The payment has been made in full, you are legally justified and declared innocent by the Most High God, the Chief Justice of the supreme court of the universe. Forget what God has forgotten. Live the new life!

The power of praise!

The power of praise!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

You are in the wonderful light of God. In this light, we declare the praises of Him who redeemed us from the kingdom and the authority of darkness. We praise our Lord and Saviour, our love King, Jesus. What an honour!

David said in Psalms 34:1, 'I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.'  Praise is powerful! Your praise opens the door for the manifestation of God's presence because Psalms 22:3 says, But You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel. God inhabits and dwells in the praises of His people. When the Lord shows up, everything changes! Hallelujah! When Paul and Silas began to praise God in prison, there was an earthquake and all prison doors opened. Praising God opens doors which are naturally impossible to open.

Become an all time praiser. Praise by faith. Praise from your heart. Praise now! Exalt, magnify and boast about the Lord! When you praise the Lord, you are giving Him thanks, you are focusing on Him, you are celebrating Him, you are giving Him all your problems and you are resting in Him. Keep praising, keep rising! This is your time. Go on with Jesus!

“I bless the Lord at all times and His praise is continually in my mouth. I am an all time praiser. Praise God. Praise God. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah.”

Love is more than words!

Love is more than words!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

I John 3:18
My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Love is more than words. God didn't just say, 'I love you' but He showed, He demonstrated His love by giving His best gift, the gift of Jesus.

Jesus is God's love in action. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the greatest demonstration of God's love for you. Never doubt God's love for you. You are God's beloved. God loves you and Jesus is the proof. As God's beloved children, we imitate God in the love walk. Without actions, love has no life, has no meaning.

Let's make a quality decision to love our brothers and sisters in Christ. Love is demonstrated in forgiving one another, praying for one another, serving one another, blessing and caring for one another, sharing with one another and standing up for one another. God is love and he who abides in love abides in God and God in him. Love never fails! Go on with Jesus!

“God demonstrated His love for me. I demonstrate my love for others in deed and in truth. I love because God first loved me.“

Know thyself!

Know thyself!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

I Thessalonians 5:5
You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.

As a believer, one of your greatest responsibilities is to discover who you really are. Who are you in Christ? What do you have in Christ? What is your position, your place in Christ? What can you do in Christ?

Once you know who you really are in Christ, you will believe right, think right, speak right and live right. A believer who doesn't know his identity in Christ lives a defeated life. There is an abundant life, a higher life in Christ waiting for you. Know thyself! The word of God is your mirror. God has given you His word so you can discover yourself in the word. For example, this verse shows us who believers are, we are sons of the light, sons of the day and we don't belong to the night nor to the darkness. This is who you are! You are light in the Lord and you are the light of the world in Christ. Can you see yourself as God sees you? It will change everything!

Say what God says about you. Let these realities be established in your consciousness. The day you become aware of who you are in Christ, that day will be the end of every struggle in your life and the beginning of a new dawn of victory, peace and joy. What a life in Christ! Go on with Jesus!

"I know and am aware of the In Christ Realities. I am in Christ and Christ is in me. I live the Christ life with Christ consciousness. Christ is my wisdom, my righteousness, my sanctification, my redemption, my life, my peace, my ability and my sufficiency. Jesus is Lord. Hallelujah"

Are you shaken? Hold on.

Are you shaken? Hold on.
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

I Thessalonians 3:3
that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this.

The Apostle Paul is writing to the church at Thessalonica and admonishing them not to be surprised, disturbed or troubled by the pressure they face for their faith because persecution and affliction is an inevitable part of faith.

Genuine faith has persecution. A faith that faces no pressure is a fake, dead faith. Every one who wants to live a godly life will be persecuted. Persecution simply means pressure to quit, to give up the word, to stop preaching the Gospel, to stop taking the name of Jesus and to stop living the Christ life. It's nothing new, it's been happening since the beginning of times. Jesus said, if they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. Couple of reasons why believers face persecution - because Satan is the god of this world system - because of many unbelievers in the world and lastly because of carnal believers, who walk by their five senses instead of faith.

When you face pressure, refuse to be shaken but rather know persecution develops patience and patience builds your character and brings you to a place where you lack nothing. You can never be disadvantaged. Never give up! Fight the good fight of faith!  No matter what, forgive and keep walking in love. You are victorious in Christ!

Attitude of gratitude!

Attitude of gratitude!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

I Thessalonians 5:18
in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

In all circumstances, no matter what happens - God's will for you - Give thanks! Giving thanks to the Lord keeps you aware of the presence of the Lord, keeps you conscious of the blessings of God and helps you have a good attitude.

The word of God is for your benefit. When you do what the word says, irrespective of how you feel, you will experience God's peace and life in every area of your life. Develop an attitude of gratitude by focusing on who Jesus is and what He has done for you. Have a grateful mindset by spending time in the word and discovering who you are in Christ, what you have in Christ and your position in Christ. Jesus has made you way more powerful and successful than you think. If you only knew, you would overflow with thankfulness! Thankfulness positions you for greater manifestations of the glory of God.

Refuse to grumble, complain and blame others. Change your language! Start thanking the Lord for His love, His grace, His mercy and His life. Thank Him for the great plans He has for you and for the right people He is bringing to your path. You can never be disadvantaged because all things are working for your good. Thank Him for it's because of Him, you are in Christ and Christ is in you. Give thanks! Your attitude of gratitude will increase you altitude!

"I am a grateful person. In everything I give thanks to the Lord. All I am and all I have is because of my Lord Jesus. My attitude of gratitude increase my altitude in life. I refuse to complain, grumble, accuse and blame. In everything, I choose to give thanks to the Lord. Thank you Lord. Hallelujah"

The word works!

The word works!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

I Thessalonians 2:13
For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.

The Bible is not the word of men, it's the word of the living God. It's important we give great honour and respect to God's word.

The word will work for anyone who will believe it. For the word to work, we must receive it. To receive the word simply means to agree with it and give it first and final place in your life. Our attitude should be : If the word says it, then that's it. Give yourself to the word of God where the word governs your thinking, your speech, your behaviour, your decisions and every aspect of your life. As you give honour to God's word and receive it, the word will work in you.

When you receive the word, the word goes into your spirit and begins to work in you. Just like medicine, the word starts working. Glory! The word will build you, strengthen you, empower you and create in you godly desires, changing the way you see life and live life resulting in immense prosperity and joy unspeakable, full of glory! Every time you read or hear the word, say, 'I believe the word of God and I receive it. The word is working in me and I am growing in the fullness of the stature of Jesus Christ.'

Escape the pollution!

Escape the pollution!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

II Peter 2:20
For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.

The world we live in is polluted. It's not the air or noise pollution but rather the pollution caused by lust. All that is in the world is - lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life. Lust, selfishness and pride causes self destruction.

The only escape to the pollutions of this world is by knowing our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This knowledge refers to having a precise and correct knowledge, to
become thoroughly acquainted with, to know thoroughly and to know well. How do you grow in the knowledge of Jesus? You grow in His knowledge by growing in His word and by growing in your communion with the Holy Spirit. Once we are born again, we are to grow in the word of God and become rooted and established in His word. Desire to grow! Refuse to be a baby!

As you grow in your knowledge of Jesus, grace and peace will be multiplied to you. As you grow in His knowledge, you will partake of the divine nature in you and you will escape the pollutions of this dark world and your life will attract many to Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Submerge yourself in the word. Total immersion in the word. Escape the pollution! Escape the self destruction! Go on with Jesus!

Like precious faith!

Like precious faith!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

II Peter 1:1
Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

Don't pray for faith. Don't beg for faith. Don't fast for faith. If you are born again, you have the faith of God.

God's faith is in every born again child of God. This verse says, we have obtained like precious -same and equal- faith by the righteousness of Jesus Christ. You have the faith of God. Acknowledge this new creation reality and celebrate it with praise and thanksgiving. Feed your faith with God's word for the word of God is faith food. Use your faith by speaking God's word.

You have God's faith in you because like Jesus himself, you are born of the seed of God, which is the word of God. You can please God all the time and you can live in victory all the days of your life because you have the faith of Jesus in you. Acknowledge. Feed. Use. Everything is possible for faith. Go on with Jesus! Never quit! Never give up!

The power of humility!

The power of humility!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

I Peter 5:6
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time

This verse gives two parts. Your part and God's part. Many a times, we reverse the roles by ignoring our parts and trying to do God's part. You humble yourself in the sight of God (not in the eyes of men) and God will exalt and promote you in due time.

Humility is powerful. What does it mean to humble yourself? It means to bring low or to make low. Bible humility means to bring yourself under God - bringing your thoughts, words and actions under God - to His word - with an undeniable reverence and love for God.

Humility doesn't just happen. It's a response to what you know and believe in your heart. When you know and believe that without God you are nothing and you can do nothing and that His word is first and final, you begin to humble yourself under God. When you know that He is responsible for you and loves you unconditionally, you humble yourself under Him. Humility is an attitude and as you humble yourself, God will promote and exalt you to the very summit of opulence and prosperity. This is your time. Go on with Jesus!

We are one!

We are one!
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

I Peter 3:8
Finally, all of  you  be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;

The church is the body of Christ. We are one body with many members. Many members but one body with Jesus as the head of this body.

Division is easy, unity is work. Satan is the spirit of division and He works really hard to divide the body and the Scriptures says, any house or kingdom that is divided against itself cannot stand. Have great honour and respect for every member in the body of Christ irrespective of their colour, gender, background, education status or their financial status. For in Christ, all of us are one. Don't judge the members, don't be harsh and disrespectful towards them. Love them. Love covers a multitude of sins and Love does no harm to it's neighbor. Glory to God.

The body has many members in different places with different functions. Their place and their work is appointed and ordained by God. Together we can accomplish much for the Lord Jesus Christ. Let's have compassion for other believers because Jesus had compassion on us. Let's be kind and courteous for Jesus was and is kind and courteous towards us. We love because He first loved us. Know who you are! Be a blessing to the body of Christ for we are one!

Good days!

Good days!
- Ashish Mathews

1 Peter 3:10‭-‬11
For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.  They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.

You can have good days all your life. Many people including believers think good days are just accidental, happens for some and never for others. Well, you can have good days on purpose, it's your choice! This verse gives the key of having a life filled with good days.

To be born again, that is to receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour is the first step in living the good life that the Lord has for you. Your mouth - the words you speak will decide what kind of life you will see in your earth walk. The quality of your words will be the quality of your life. Speak the word of God, for the word of God is life. As you speak life, you will see life and enjoy life. Life and death is in the power of your tongue.

Fear God - hate what the Lord hates and love what the Lord loves. As you do these things, you will see good days and you will begin to enjoy the abundant life. You are not waiting for good days. Good days are waiting for you. Start now! This is your time!
