How great thou art!

Psalms 8:3‭-‬4
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?

Have you taken a moment this day to consider the beautiful creations of God? The heavens, the skies, the sun, moon and stars, the mountains, the valleys, the animals, the birds and the wonderful humans that He has made. When I behold these beautiful and breathtaking creations, I am in awe of our great Creator God. How great he is!

Isaiah 40 says God measures the waters in the hollow of his hand, He measures the heaven with his palm, He calculates the dust of the earth in a measure, weighs the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance. Our God is a great God. The Psalmist says Be still and know your God. In other words, know how great He is. He is greater than any challenge that you are facing now. Be conscious of His greatness and you will begin to be bold in all the arenas of your life. David knew the greatness of His God and He was bold in facing a giant named Goliath and not only did he face him but he also defeated him. David invested good amount of time meditating on the greatness of God. I am sure he meditated about How God delivered His forefathers, the Israelites from the Egyptian oppression with a mighty hand, How He divided the Red sea, How He fed them for forty years and gave them sufficient water in the midst of a desert. David was thrilled about the greatness of God and He could face any challenge that came his way. Hallelujah to the Lamb.

Friend, take some time and dig in the word and let the word reveal the greatness of your Father. God is big, bigger than your mistakes, bigger than your biggest challenge, bigger than anything and everything Satan can ever do, He is bigger than all the governments put together. Isaiah says Heaven is Gods throne and earth is His footstool. Become conscious and let the world see your Father's greatness through you. For this is why we live, to show the world How great Jesus is!
