His mercy endures forever

His mercy endures forever.
- Pastor Ashish Mathews

Ephesians 2.4
But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much

I am so glad that our Father God is rich, abundant and immense in mercy. His mercy never ends and its new every morning. It's because of his mercy, grace and great love that we are alive today.  Psalms 136 says the Lord is good and his mercy endures forever.

It's God's mercy that we didn't get what we deserved. Our sins qualified us to be under God's wrath and condemnation.  We were by nature, children of God's wrath. Romans 5. 6-8 says very rarely will someone die for a righteous man, some one may even dare to die for a good man. But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, ungodly, weak and his enemies, Christ died for us. The biggest display of God's mercy, love and grace is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our salvation has nothing to do with our works. No flesh will boast before God. We are not saved because of any good, nice or clean things we did. The Bible says all of our righteous deed are like filthy rags. It's not because of our good works, it's simply because God is rich in mercy, abundant in grace and great in love. Today, I encourage you to receive his mercy. He doesn't judge you or condemn you. He loves you irrespective of the mistakes you have made, irrespective of the sins you have committed, He still loves you and wants to extend his mercy and grace to you. Receive His mercy! Receive Jesus, for He is the fullness of God's grace and mercy. Stay connected to Jesus, your Source and Sustainer.

A woman caught in adultery was brought to Jesus, Jesus didn't condemn her because he is rich in mercy. He spoke to her and said, 'I do not condemn you. Go and sin no more'. He did not stone her but extended his mercy by forgiving her of what she did and gave her his grace, his ability to sin no more. Beloved, his mercy endures forever and his grace is sufficient.  Come boldly to the throne of grace that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help you in your time of need. Hallelujah.

"My Father is the Father of mercies. My sins were many and my punishment was severe but God, who is rich in mercy and because of His great love, sent Jesus to die for me. The blood of Jesus has wiped out my sins and paid for my entire punishment. His mercy endures forever. Hallelujah. I sin no more!"
